Simply download the application package, unzip it, and hotsync one of the .prc files and at least one dictionary to your device, or put them in the /palm/Launcher directory on a removable memory card. (Dictionaries on a card can also be placed in /palm/programs/Crosswords if you prefer.) For the dictionary you can use BasEnglish2to8 included in the package, or pick one or more from here.

Installing on a PocketPC device

Crosswords should run on any ARM-based PocketPC device -- which means any less than five years old. It has been tested extensively with WinMo 5, 6, and 6.1.

For PocketPC, install using the .cab file. For Smartphone, download the .zip file and unzip it on the device. You will need at least one dictionary as well.
